Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 6 18

Malachi, the last of the prophets of the Old Testament. The book of Malachi contains a prophecy of the coming of Messiah and the announcement that Elijah will return as his forerunner. Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament.

Blessings on this Sunday in June.

Thank you for sharing a Scripture link or just a comment. Have a great week ahead.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 6 13

Welcome to Pictorial Tuesday (link up below). I've had a few questions about what can be shared at Pictorial Tuesday so thought I would post some clarification as to my link up.

Whether you like to manipulate your photos to look like a scrapbook page, painting with software programs or you just love the way the photo looks straight out of the camera, Pictorial Tuesday would like to see your photography or digital graphic masterpieces. To me, all photos are master pieces. So each Tuesday, I'm hosting a linky party to share your photos and mine. :) I love photography and always have since a child. To me, it's a great way to capture and view things that might be missed with the naked eye, and also to preserve memories.

Freebie Alert:
If you like the action that I used for the photo above, you can find it here: Studio Zap as a free download at the bottom of that page. I love this action...so easy to use on any photo

My selection below for this week's Pictorial Tuesday is from a new fun procedure that I learned this week; scanning a flower so I'm sharing some of the flowers that I scanned this week. I learned about the procedure over at French Kiss Textures. If you subscribe to her newsletter, she shares some great tips as well as a monthly freebie. She fashioned a black box to lay over her scanner with lid open, and since I didn't have one or want to make one, I laid a piece of black material gently over the flower.

This one is a scan of my Lily

This is one of my Gerbera flowers that I scanned. I like how you can kind of see the reflection in the scanner glass.

There are just a couple rules on what photos you share:

  • Share your favorite photography, digital scrapbooking, or graphically manipulated photo
  • Keep your photographic sharing family friendly (no sexual innuendo photos or inappropriate comic type photos - no nudes of any type. I realize some find nudes very artistic, but would rather not have them shared here in case smaller little eyes might happen upon my blog).
  • I would ask that you would visit at least a few of the other's who have linked up their sites and make some new or visit some already virtual photographer friends.
  • Try to leave a comment for those you visit so they know you visited and they can then visit back.

You're welcome to share my button on your post, appreciated but doesn't have to be. Thank you.

Instructions: Select all (ctrl a) code above, copy it and paste it inside your blog post as HTML

So, you're next. Just click on the button below and link up to share your masterpieces.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up ~ Cardinal

This little fellow made a visit last Spring with his pretty song. Have only seen the Cardinal a few times this year. They are my favorite along with the wrens.

Definition: a New World songbird of the bunting family, with a stout bill and typically with a conspicuous crest. The male is partly or mostly red in color.

You're next for linking your pictorial or graphic favorite. Thank you.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 6 4

Welcome to Sunday Scripture Blessings. I thought maybe I would go over what my posting is all about for those who might be new. Each Sunday, I post a Scripture Blessing to share. Those who would like, are welcome to link up a Blessing. There really are no rules to my meme. Just a blessing that is shared with a link to your blog posting so others can come visit and maybe leave a comment of thank you for your blessing. I do ask that you link to the Scripture blog posting rather than to your main blog so it is easier to find your sharing. If that isn't possible than any way you can share is a blessing; either with a link or a comment blessing is always heartwarming too. Thank you.

Feel free to take my Sunday Scripture Blessing button. Code is found on the side menu.

Today, I'm sharing a photo of my Lily flowers that are just now beginning to bloom. This, itself, is also a blessing to me. My middle son who came home for a bit about six years ago, bought the bulbs for these and planted them. Each year as they return, I am blessed for his lovely gift. I call them my Jerry Lily. :) I am just not much of a gardener so each year I am so tickled when the flower pops open because they really don't take much care or at least they haven't from me. Just a drink of water and some food once in a while. Love my Lilies.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:17-18 NIV

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 5 30

Few years ago, the grandbaby and I were outside for him to have play time. We saw this plane come toward the house and close to the trees and everything. Had no clue what it was at first. It went over again, and I thought it was just having fun and flying low for us as it went over the house. Finally figured out it had come to spray the farm field across the road and was a crop duster plane. We did go inside then, but was fun to watch him do his thing as he flew really low over the field and then back up.

Sharing my video:

Link up some of your favorite photography, graphics or photography art. Thanks for sharing with Peabea Scribbles. Look forward to see the lovelies you share, and  hope you can pop over and meet the other photography lovers who have linked their sites.

Pictorial Tuesday 5 23

These little weed daisy flowers are so cute. Such a joy to view Nature's sharing. Beauty can be found in the most unusual places like a field of weeds. :)

You're Next for sharing a Pictorial favorite. :)

Planters Are Done 'n Planted

Sharing a few pictures of the planters hubby made that I posted about in Pictorial Tuesday. They are all done and flowers planted, and I'm beat. Even with planters, more work than I really wanted. Hubby loved making them so much, I ended up with five. haha
